Morakniv Classic 1/0 is a classic craftsman’s knife popular among carpenters and woodworkers and also useful for everyday tasks. The knife features a barrel-shaped, stained birch handle and a 77 mm carbon steel blade that retains its sharpness over time.

With its 77 mm long carbon steel blade, Morakniv Classic 1/0 is a well-regarded all-round knife especially among carpenters and woodworkers. The stained birch handle is a classic design detail from the end of the last century.

Morakniv Classic 1/0 is a reliable everyday knife with a wide range of uses. Its shorter 77 mm blade offers high precision and accurate cuts – perfect for crafts and woodworking. The knife’s full rat-tail tang running through the handle provides good stability and strength.

Comfortable birch handle with good control
The barrel-shaped handle in oiled Scandinavian birch is designed to fit comfortably in the hand, even during extended use. The knife comes with a plastic sheath with a polished surface and the Dalecarlian coat of arms, plus a belt loop made of vegetable-tanned leather.

German carbon steel for long-lasting sharpness
The 2 mm thick, 77 mm long blade is made from German carbon steel (C100S) that maintains optimal sharpness over time and is easy to sharpen. The blade has a hardness of 58.5 HRC and a polished surface that protects against rust but should always be wiped and oiled after use.

Swedish craftsmanship, made in Mora
The knife is assembled and heat-treated at our factory in Mora with 135 years of knife-making tradition.
